Composite Bonding

This is a great option to enhance your smile if you have chipped or worn front teeth and want to enhance your smile in a conservative way.

Being able to choose from a range of colours, translucencies and hues it’s possible to restore the appearance of your front teeth and keep things conservative- often without the need to drill your teeth or use needles!

What to expect:

As always we will take photographs to document the “Before” and agree your desired result. The Bonding appointment takes between 1-2 hours depending on how many teeth are to be treated. The edges of chipped enamel may be polished to remove any harsh edges before layers of composite are sculpted onto your teeth.  Finally, the refining and polishing stage creates a beautifully natural form and lustre to mimic exactly that of a healthy smile.

You may be advised to wear a night-guard if your teeth were worn from grinding and you should take care of your teeth by not using them to hold things/ nail biting. Regular upkeep ( such as re-polishing) will be required in addition to excellent home care. Like most dental treatments, their longevity is determined by your biting habits, diet and hygiene.
